I am fascinated by the Rules of Golf and passionate about playing the game.  Recently, I accepted a position with the Oregon Golf Association as the Manager of Rules Education & Special Events.

Outside Agency will serve as an avenue to report throughout the upcoming Championship season.  I hope this blog evolves into a forum for both a discusion on the Rules of Golf and ideas on how the Oregon Golf Association can better serve our membership through Special Events and outreach.

Inspiration for this blog is split between my dear friend, Robert Fogerty, and his reporting from New Orleans (http://post-katrinaneworleans.blogspot.com) and to, John Vander Borght, for his outstanding work on Free Drop (http://freedrop.wordpress.com).
